Gentle holidays in the Villnöss Valley
The Villnöss Valley is one of the most impressive mountain regions in South Tyrol and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites. Striking peaks, wide alpine meadows and quiet forests characterise the landscape and make the valley an ideal place for a gentle, sustainable holiday in the Villnöss Valley – far away from the hustle and bustle and mass tourism.
As a member of the Alpine Pearls network , Villnöss is committed to environmentally friendly tourism, sustainability and gentle mobility. The aim is to preserve the unique nature of the region and offer guests a relaxing holiday in South Tyrol.
The energy you consume during your stay comes mainly from local and renewable resources. Three hydroelectric power stations, two district heating plants and a photovoltaic system ensure a largely self-sufficient energy supply in the valley.
We at the Ganoihof also do our bit: as a certified Alpine Pearls host, we stand for climate protection, regional value creation and the responsible use of natural resources.

We have been welcoming guests to the Ganoihof since the 1960s. Since then, tourism in the region has grown steadily. We remain open to development, but we are self-critical about the increase in consumer tourism, infrastructure construction and value chains in the region.
Due to our deep roots in the farm and the surrounding area, we want to make a visible and tangible contribution to maintaining a liveable environment for everyone involved. Support us in this endeavour and learn more about sustainable holidays in the Villnöss Valley.
