How people, landscape and land use interact
As part of Slow Food Travel Villnöss, we accompany interested guests on tours of the farm and fields several times a year. Georg Profanter (social educator, organic farmer) and Andreas Hudler (landscape ecologist) provide insights into the history of the farm, current farming practices, and biodiversity.
Under the title ‘Tyrolean Grey Cattle and the Villnöss Cultural Landscape around the Ganoihof’, the two invite you to discuss the interactions between nature, animal husbandry, and landscape.
The circular walk ends with a convivial aperitif featuring homemade, seasonal delicacies.
If you are interested in these topics, you can find further insights into our approach and working methods on our page about sustainable holidays in the Villnöss Valley.
